Restraint

More than a handful

becomes a waste

happy slips though fingers

when your eyes

are too big

for your heart

Walking on air

an inch above

good enough

leaves me as breathless

and a mile is

too far to fall

Your words always leave me thinking. Just cryptic enough to wonder if I am reading them how I should.

Yea...I remembered my login!

Did you so postsecret today? I was actually comforted by the fact there were others out there who are alone.

What a great line. I remmber my mother scolding me for taking too much food and not eating it all, telling me my eyes were too big for my belly.

What a great spin on an old phrase we're probably all familiar with.

Very nice, Jane.
